FP Reinforced Polypropylene Centrifugal Pump
FP Reinforced Polypropylene Centrifugal Pump
The FP Reinforced Polypropylene Centrifugal Pump uses glass-fiber reinforced polypropylene (GFR-PP) for the pump casing and impeller β providing good corrosion resistance against dilute acids, alkalis, salt solutions, and oxidizing agents at an economical cost compared to fluoroplastic or metal alloy alternatives.
The glass fiber reinforcement increases the tensile strength and rigidity of the polypropylene to withstand higher pressures and mechanical loads than unfilled PP. Operating temperature is -20Β°C to +80Β°C, and the FDA-acceptable PP material makes these pumps suitable for food-grade applications.
Common applications include electroplating rinse water, swimming pool water circulation, aquaculture, cooling tower circulation, and dilute acid/alkali chemical dosing in water treatment systems.
