The Equal Wall Thickness Screw Pump (progressive cavity pump with equal-wall-thickness stator) uses a precisely molded elastomer stator in which the wall thickness is uniform throughout the profile. This is in contrast to conventional stators where the wall is thinner at the tips, making the tips the highest-stress and first-to-fail region.
The equal wall thickness design distributes mechanical stress evenly across the full stator profile, resulting in 30β50% longer stator life in abrasive applications. The design also maintains more consistent fit between rotor and stator across the temperature range, reducing efficiency loss at elevated temperatures.
Particularly valuable in high-temperature, high-abrasion applications including geothermal drilling mud, hot chemical slurry, and food processing at elevated temperature.
