BQS Mine Explosion-Proof Submersible Sand Pump
The BQS Mine Explosion-Proof and Sand Discharge Submersible Electric Pump is purpose-built for underground coal mine applications where hazardous gas (methane) atmospheres demand explosion-proof certification. The motor and pump are encapsulated in an explosion-proof housing certified to ExdIIBT4 standard for Zone 1 hazardous areas.
The sand-discharge capability uses a wear-resistant impeller and casing in high-chromium alloy to handle abrasive mine sump water containing sand, coal dust, and mineral particles. The pump can handle solid concentrations up to 30% and particle sizes up to 30 mm.
Complies with Chinese coal mine safety regulations (MA certification) and can be supplied to ATEX certification for international underground mine applications.
